Exactly and thoose that Akane has is over-sized anyway. Rikka has perfect balance with the nice addition of thighs ^^

A man of discerning taste I see. Not many thigh men in anime fandom.

Remember when everyone’s frame of reference for this show was that it was an update of one of the few decent PR knockoffs when everyone tried to get a tokusatsu to adapt? And it had Tim Curry?

I can understand why they'd take these steps. They are clearly trying to produce most of the same merchandise and art product that independent artists usually create and make money off of, so this is just eliminating the competition. Feel a little bad for many of the artists though.

Now Gridman will forever be remembered as being about the cute girl with the thick thighs, the cute evil girl with the big breasts, and maybe something about cybernetic kaiju. Trigger knows it and is going to cashing in with the fanboys for all Rikka and Akane are worth.

Lol, don't remind me, after what happened with Voltron. Gridman is still kind of a low-profile property so I guess any old-school fans should consider themselves spared.

This show is quickly becoming Voltron’s complete antithesis from that angle. Lots of waifu focus, giant Ultra hero and mecha vs monsters every episode, and tons of action.

I can kinda live with the waifu bait because it never gets in the way of the Ultra vs kaiju action. They work in tandem...unless Yuta does end up with Rikka and they have to put more focus on those feelings (but that’s another topic).
