Let's hope they put all that extra money to good use then.

And yet they still cannot fix their Console apps. I'd hope that they start listening to their console users more, because the console apps are so buggy.

They need to invest in an in-house dubbing studio is what they need to do with all that money.

Congrats Crunchyroll! Glad they were one of the firsts to allow me to support the shows I like but can't always afford to collect.

So now Crunchyroll has partnered with Toonami? That’s pretty cool. Hope that means more shows can be secured to simulcast on CR each season even after the Funi breakup, with Toonami backing them up. Also would love to see more shows CR has that aren’t typical Toonami stock, like maybe Re:Zero, Konosuba (if someone will dub it!), Dragon Maid, Tanya, Place Further than the Universe (also needs to be dubbed), etc.

I'd be ok with that as long as they use an new set of VAs that we have never heard before.

I believe (from one of answerman articles) that they cheaped out on their programming team, it’s based out of a country where it’s illegal to own a PlayStation 4.

Their main dev team is Moldova, but it seems like they're still hiring in SF HQ, or maybe rehiring after firing most people. But it's not illegal to buy a PS4 there as I've read there are dealers and importers, but it's just that Moldova is not supported by Sony so you have no access to PSN for online play, or the digital store.

That’s more subscribers than the WWE Network.
Wonder how many they’re gonna lose with the switch from FUNi to Sentai?

My guess is low five-figures minimum.

I doubt that they counted VRV's subscribers with the 2 million subscribers thing. The FUNI to HIDIVE switch mostly affects VRV subscribers. What might happen is that VRV subscribers might switch to CR, and pays FUNi for their content. However, if CR has drastically less simulcasts for Winter 2019 going forward, then they might drastically lose subscribers.

Fix on which console? My ps4 crunchyroll works great. Annoying controls though...
