Very debatable on whether I'll get this.
I've seen the film -- the rewatchability is questionable. I'm waiting for some kind of announcement about the Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha movies which are also Eleven Arts productions. I was hoping they would release those here or I'll have to import and I know that'll be AT LEAST be double what I've have to pay for a domestic release. At this point, I think they'll pay to dub the vast majority (over 90% of) feature films for but for TV shows it's maybe 80% of them have been dubbed in the last 6-8 years whereas sub-only releases were very rare for most companies releasing DVDs until a few years after the 2007/2008 general DVD market crash which was worse than the norm for anime. We're just now ticking back past 80% for dubs when it's clear most people are NOT going to buy sub-only home video releases. I think that accounts for partial lack of anime success in the US for certain Japanese companies that have quietly pulled out of doing anime releases. |

I imported the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha movies a few years ago and I'm not holding my breath waiting for them to be dubbed cause' it isn't gonna happen.

Yeah, last time Lyrical Nanoha was touched was almost a decade ago with Funi's rescue of the first two TV anime from Geneon. However, seems sales were low enough for the shows where Funi let the licenses for both expire. As a magical girl anime, it was decent though nothing strongly stuck out with it for me. |
