It would be nice if Funimation and Aniplex of America started working together now that they are both owned by Sony. It would be nice if Aniplex at least let Funimation stream their shows since they allow all of Funimation's competitors too.

If were lucky, than Aniplex will let Funimation stream Extra Edition and/or Ordinal Scale

Perhaps this was possible because Sony purchased Funimation.

You're really not missing much if you don't see Extra Edition. It's like 70% recap.

It's not the first time Funimation stream a Aniplex show. They did the same thing with Erased and Durarara x2.

it is sad that funimation is not available in my country... meh...

there is some things that i want a favor for sword art online:

1.) melissa hutchison [clementine of walking dead / alicia winston of time crisis 3] must be the english voice of alice zuberg

2.) a telltale game (i prefer sword art online to have a telltale game)

3.) a sitcom spinoff (sword art offline is not enough. aside of playbacks and reviews.)

I would like to see a SAO game that plays exactly like a Tales game, have it be set in ALO, have it take place between Season 2 and Alicization. Oh and have English voice acting.

It’s that time again. For all the big Anitubers to start bitching about the series again for the sake of money. Razz

And Ordinal Scale was a crap-fest.

I'm a super big SAO fan, but I royally hated that movie.

It's on Crunchyroll... I don't know where you are, but adding it to Funimation wouldn't expand the territories since those are set by Aniplex USA.
https://www.crunchyroll.com/sword-art-online/sword-art-online-extra-edition-movie-648529 If it's an issue of CR being unusable for you then yeah, I sympathize.

I'm not a big SAO fan (it's been in my 6-7/10 range throughout), but I would say don't miss Extra Edition if you love the characters - there's a little extra ALO quest in it which I enjoyed, like the one in the second season. Smile Though it may not be as good for you since you've already seen the second season. For me it was the first time seeing Asuna join the gang for an ALO quest.
