Poor guy. Unlike Sugiyama, he seems like a really swell down-to-earth guy. I remember reading about how someone showed him the fan-made Queen-inspired remix of FFVI's Opera and his comment was, "Wow, I want to buy these guys a beer!"
Hope he gets well soon!

Yeah. Sadly everytime the headline is just a photo of someone i get nervous for a few seconds.

Nobuo Uematsu and Arnie Roth were great when they presented Final Fantasy Distant Worlds in Adelaide back in November 2012.
