Other than to maybe show more credibility, what is the reasoning to embed Discotek's Twitter announcements for some of the titles mentioned in this article?

Govarian is the absolute last thing I would've expected Discotek to licence, but heck if I'm complaining. All these classic shows announcement like Giant Robo, 999, Area 88, and the other mecha shows are absolutely amazing!
The licencing of Juspion is also a massive deal. I think this is the first Metal Heroes series to come officially to the west outside of being frankensteined into a show like VR Troopers or Beetleborgs. Galactic Wars is a nice bonus as well.

I assume it's to include the video teasers, which don't seem to be YouTube links but are posted to Twitter directly.

Oh, my. I pretty much want all of these releases. Even the stuff I already have (like Area 88 and Giant Robo) is desirable for a gorgeous update. I salute you once again, Discotek. You continue to floor me with each announcement.

Where am I going to find the money and time for all this anime? There were some fantastic titles announced this time around. I can't even pick a favourite.

The characters in Kimagure Orange Road, look a lot like the ones from Ranma. I wonder why that particular Lupin entry was chosen, not saying it shouldn't be, just that there are more well known titles out there.

I think Discotek got the memo in regards to S'More's awful treatment of those two shows and snapped them up as a way to make up for not licensing them previously. At least now we can take comfort in that Discotek will treat Bobobo and 999 better than S'More did. Thank goodness!

It's a Lupin movie. That's all that matters.

Kudos to Mike, Brady et al! Each August, the list of titles for which one must resignedly say "oh, that was a solid show, but it's been long out of print" dwindles a little.

I was waiting for these announcements to see if they'd pick up any semi-random previously-unlicensed 2000s titles (e.g. Soul Link, Eternal Alice), but this is still a great slate.
Hmm, 18 volumes of Kimagure Orange Road -> 48 episodes. 18 volumes of Galaxy Express -> 113 episodes. Filler much? And would GE99 be the first North American in-house BD upscale of analog masters? I have to think sticking to DVD or SDBD would be cheaper and not substantially worse quality.

Well, we can hope that the 3rd time is the charm.

I am blind buying Kimagure Orange Road, and I might also buy Galaxy Express 999. Thank you Discotek for keeping licensing all these classics, and on BD.
