Hey, is anyone else experiencing intermittent slowness issues with the "fast" server? I've been having problems for the last couple of days. It feels almost as if I'm on the "regular" server at times.

That's not good at all. Can you tell me around what times it's been happening, if it happens on one page and then is fine, of if it continues for a couple minutes?
Has anyone else had this problem?

I've also been having this problem, although for me it's been even slower than the non-subscriber server usually was. There hasn't been any specific areas of the site where it's better or worse--forums, news, encyclopedia, all have been equally slow with little difference from one page to another. As for specific timing, it's felt fairly constant for me since yesterday, possibly as early as Saturday night, I can't quite recall.

Found the problem, something was up with the database, so it affected all the servers. Unfortunately the DB is our weak point, if there are problems there, everything is slow.
Everything should be good now though.

It's still just as slow on my end, unfortunately.

It was flying when I left it, and now it's all slow.
We're going to continue working on it. WWW is down, but because of the low user load we'll probably keep fast up unless we need to restart the DB server. That would only be for a few seconds..

Personally, I've been experiencing a considerable slowdown on fast trying to access the base forum page (say, by clicking on the forum tab). It can't even connect me to the page, it just times out. My connection across the site is roughly the same as it was before fast, but considerably slower at times within the forums.

It's been slow off and on for me today and I'm not even using fast at the moment. This thread loaded fine but my last attempt to load the index took a good 3 to 4 minutes.

Okay, we think the problem has been identified and fixed. Dan spent the last couple hours working with the database and identified what seems to have been causing the problem and corrected it.
We apologize for all the slowness.
