How can the characters looks so bad and cheap compared to Yuuna, when it's the same designer and director?
That doesn't bode well for the budget, I'm afraid.

Yeah I much prefer the manga art for this series. However this is only the 1st poster, I've had it happen before where a show looked actually better than the initial teaser poster, so hopefully this is a similar case. As they say, don't judge a book by it's cover. Plus the series doesn't necessarily need a huge budget since it's a slice of life comedy.
Also I do love cast performed songs.

This mentality right here, this is why most SoL comedies go under radar, and hardly sell anything nowadays. Sad, but true.

No actually, who the hell said anything about that? What I think that this is the very mentality (among industry big-shots) why 90% of SoL series are made dirt cheap, and end up being huge failures, while the ones with astounding production values often end up as best sellers.
