Because Japan and Senegal ended their match with an equalizer, it may give off a sense of feeling that both sides are somehow on equal footing.
Just saying.
The term soccer exists for a reason. American football in the United States is simply known as football, which explains why that country refers to association football as soccer. |

Tbf, there was an association that regulated football (soccer) but there were politics involved and it split into it and a "soccer" association... i think. :p |
