Isn’t the game pretty well regarded? I’ve heard mixed things about its adaptation, but I’ve also heard good things about the source.

Well, that's disappointing. I was looking forward to Zwei being released. Hopefully they can get something going so that they can actually release those two games in the end.

Not really news to anyone that the VN market is crashing really hard. Companies exploiting crowdfunding campaign isn't helping anyone either.
I reckon this is a good thing though. Maybe once the market is completely dead it'll start anew and put out some better works.

if it's developers who don't put out quality titles, sure, but Sprite was never really considered a bad developer. This is more of a sad blow.

No wonder why i couldn't find any progress for Zwei development, yes really sad, it would have been more than welcomed

Afraid this was going to happen. Was holding on to a sliver of hope that the Switch version of the game would get localized before this happened...
