Wasn't that the one where the anime ended with a "to be continued"? I guess with the novel ending (and Production IMS being broke) there likely won't be a sequel.

I still have no idea how these types of novels gather any sort of following outside of people wanting to watch heavily censored no-intercourse porn.
Well here's to hoping the writer's next work is far less raunchy. |

I literally own every harem anime ever dubbed on blu ray and was kinda annoyed funimation pushed back the blu ray release of this too an unspecified date:(

I've nothing against harem anime, some of my favourite anime series are harem in one way or another. I just don't like tasteless harem anime. Unless there's alot more I'm missing the description seems like something you would read of a hentai dvd or Doujin description. Not that I would know that of course

well ....less like Sekirei and more like The Testament of Sister New Devil. as years pass theyll get even raunchier..:p already became Desensitized too it a long time ago after seeing highschool dxd.

13 volumes is a pretty good number for a almost R18 light novel and even got a anime and manga adaption. I would say it was successful
Masamune Kuji will probably have a new LN very soon. I hope he gets Hisasi on board to make the illustrations. A good super ecchi harem Light novel is always welcome. |

It sure would be nice to have a second season to wrap up the remaining open threads left by the first anime. Probably little hope for that now though.

He is already doing a LN called Ecstas Online (that it's basically the ecchi version of SAO) and it even has a manga adaptation. And a few weeks ago he started another LN but I don't know what it's about. Ecstas Online is selling more or less the same as Masou Gakuen HxH so hopefully, we could get an anime adaptation soon. |

considering that shinmai mao no testament is already R18 with its latest volume, its pretty much to say that most harem LNs will be going down this route to say the least. even dxd is getting even more risque with the fanservice! but the real surprise that the anti otaku govt and their outrageous tokyo youth ordinance law haven't even intervened with any of these series AT ALL or try to ban some of them outright for going R18! guess its ok with them alongs as the series don't have any romances that involves blood related siblings ala oreimo. |
