I wouldn't be surprised if Denuvo is added as well, it also ended up in Sonic Mania's PC release. Consoles will always have a market as long as that DRM and others that are garbage are added to PC games.

You do know that consoles have their own DRM, right? And Sony patented a blockchain DRM thing https://gadgets.ndtv.com/games/news/ps4-games-may-use-blockchain-drm-solution-sony-patent-filing-hints-1845012 Denuvo is pointless and always gets cracked anywhere between Pre-release and a month, now days. If people care about the game, anyway. But DRM has nothing to do with why people use inferior consoles instead of PC. |

Consoles have always been a closed ecosystem, the reason no one speaks much of DRM on consoles as everyone expects this from a closed ecosystem. PC is not a closed ecosystem though and thus PC gamers are sensitive to DRM especially Denuvo and rightfully so. Later DRM such as Starforce and Denuvo have caused major to downright catastrophic computer problems. |
