I hope this didn't cause production issues, because that would have been one of the worse outcomes.

Glad they apologized, it was a messed up thing to do. Wonder if these shitty designs will get changed...probably not

We couldn't be so lucky.

So the issue lied with Kadokawa and not Madhouse as some people were suggesting when this matter was first announced? Well, as long as the original character designer is now happy, it’s fine. Looking forward to this in Fall.

Reading about this incident made me think about the end of the second season of Shirobako. Kadokawa's behavior here is eerily reminiscent of the smarmy agent in Shirobako.

That's exactly what came to my mind too. Glad it seems to have been worked out. I loved reading the light novel so I'm looking forward to this adaptation.

That was handled pretty well.

This might be just me, but was Boogiepop's back shown in the previous key visual? The key visual shown in this article feels better compared to the previous one.

Nice to see this issue has been resolved amicably and the production can progress. By the way, I cannot stop thinking that every time I see the article thumbnail for this anime, the girl is viewed from between another girl's legs.

^ You realize that's just your personal form of pareidolia, right? Smile

I dunno, doesn't sound like Kadokawa learned anything about communication from the Kemono Friends fiasco.

Glad to see they managed to solve the problem. This is by far one of my most anticipated series of the year and I was starting to have the nagging feeling that the whole thing was being delayed because of the incident with the illustrator... I hope we get news soon about the airing date.
