Omg omg please tell me this means that since there's technically more material to adapt from that there could be some Umaru OVAs, a movie, or more TV seasons, i.e. S3+!! An Umaru fan can dream right?

Welp, I doubt that that's enough time to close some of the characters overarching, especially when just a bit ago they were still playing for the laughs the tropes used as a plot devices for Umaru's multiple personality issue (the mask thing for the U.M.R. persona, in that case).
We got some sort of epilogue and conclusion for some characters by the end of the original manga, but we didn't quite get something as significant in the sequel thus far (I'm at chapter 14 however, maybe something happened in the last two issues that I missed).
We still yet to see some proper background for her mother too. And get some conclusion for that Ebina and Oniichan thing as well. Not to mention the Former Umaru plot point also needs a better closure than the one we got in the original manga, as we only properly learn about the subject, but didn't go as far as solving it ("almost", but not quite, by the end of volume 12).
I'm guessing we are getting 1 big volume or two small ones (like the Ebina-chan spinoff) for G in this case, as the last chapter will probably be the 18th.
Hopefully it is not the end of it just yet, this story has some quite interesting developments overall, for what one could call moeblob Slice of Life.

It'd be nice if this and the spinoffs got licensed as well.
