Man, that PV was really cool. That staff looks good too. Looking forward to this one whenever it premieres.

Good staff. The director is really promising. I just hope they were able to set the stage high. But I wonder if the designer is the animation director. Normally, the designer is the animation director sometimes. Not always in the whole series, but in a few episodes. This is not yet clear.

I'm kinda afraid, I really hope that they don't make it seem like some epic story or something (judging from the pv) since goblin slayer has always seemed to be simply a gritty and unapologetic look at how monster hunting would actually be like

I hope they stay away from the excessive edginess of the manga version. That stuff just got to the point of pornographic.

I don't think you should be afraid because the staff in my opinion is very good and I'm almost certain this preview is just showing off the character design in a flashy way to build hype. I'm confident they'll stay true to the source material. I know it's good to not over hype things and I should keep my expectations reasonable, but I'm looking forward to this and for now they have my trust.

Also additionally in theory someone that worked on Made In Abyss should have a good grasp on how to keep the tone true to the source material. Made In Abyss often has a grim and generally serious tone so they're already familiar with that kind of story.

That was quite a bit cooler than I expected. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the studio White Fox though.

This reminds me of Shield Hero's PV from last year. We still haven't got further announcements from that series though, so I wonder if we really will get Goblin Slayer released this year.

It was a really good PV though. Especially liked the music.

Yeah, and I love both of the writers working on this. Hideyuki Kurata and Yousuke Kuroda have worked on a ton of my favorite shows so even though I've never read the source they're another reason I'm quite excited to see this show.
