Very happy! Yakuza 0 was my first Yakuza game. Played Kiwami later that year and I became in love with the series. Unfortunately, I'm in an awkward position where I want to get Yakuza 6, but I haven't got a PS3, so I have no way of playing 3-5. I'd rather experience the games than watch cutscenes online.

If you can take a weeks vacation you can do a free trial of PS Now and play 3-5 (+ Dead Souls)

I've been waiting and looking every few days for this announcement. As someone else said, I've only recently become invested in the series with the first Kiwami. I haven't even touched the others but couldn't be happier knowing I now have at least 3 more to play through...until they remaster the rest.

I absolutely HIGHLY recommend Yakuza 2. Where the original showed potential amidst some minor quirks and annoyances, Yakuza 2 took everything, cleaned it up, and cranked everything to 11 so far as the action and the plot. It wound up being one of my favorite PS2 games, and to think the series has done so well in recent years as to get a remake on the PS4 is beyond words for me.

I don't see them remastering the rest especially as it wouldn't be necessary that and the fact that the 5th game had a PS4 version..........now if they were to remake the PSP and Kenzan spinoffs which were never released out of Asia that would be different.
