Some of the greatest shonen arcs all time and my personnal favorites. Just reading the review and remembering all the highlights of this volume got me all emotional. I wonder how I'll be able to handle the anime adaptation of this moment.
Also lol at that only negative. I like grape boy. I think he's pretty funny.

I'm really hoping that this volume will be the climax of the third anime season. It's just utterly perfect for the role.

most likely since this and the school camp arc is only 30 chapters and mainly consist of fights. They can totally adapt it in a single cour if they're not planning on going further this season.

This is the arc where this series goes from great to amazing. One more arc of this level or greater, and My Hero Academia will undoubtedly become legendary.

I third this. Season 3 really just needs to finish here. Any point before would not be enough, and any point after would be anticlimactic.

If it's 1 cour, sure, but otherwise I disagree that it needs to end there. S1 covered to chapter 21, S2 covered to chapter 69, and if S3 is 2 cour and covers another 48 like S2, that puts it at 117 which 120 can also be conceivably reached. I think the resolution of Deku vs Bakugou 2 would be a great way to end the season.

I'm hoping for a chapter 121 finish as well. As it would give some sense of closure to not 1 characters arc, but 2. A better ending spot just overall as the Bakugo arc itself is way too related to the previous All Might arc to have a break between them imo.
But I'll be happy with whatever they choose. Both a strong spot to end.

The only issue being that if they end it with this volume, the next arc after isn't long enough for a 1 cour, but with the arc after would be too long for a 2 cour.

I agree with you on where this will likely run through to. It makes the most sense, even though the material from this volume is going to be an emotional high poin,. Hero Aca has never been about those in the long run. it's about what the big events do for the characters and their growth down the line which is why I think where you said it should stop makes more sense.
