BanG Dream is an idol show and not a huge one like LL so that getting a dub was unlikely so this is not surprising.

Bang Dream! Is more like K-on then any Idol anime, thats why I was kinda expecting a dub.. The only Idol anime I liked enough to buy is Wake Up Girls. |

Anonymous Noise will suck in ANY language; I guarantee it.
That trainwreck was only tolerable because of Yuzu. >_> Instead of this mediocrity, Redub Full Moon AND DO IT RIGHT.

I think the fact that hardly anyone seemed interested in it as it was streaming played more into their decision, than whether or not it’s similar to K-On! I was honestly surprised that anyone would have thought it had a chance to get dubbed. Grimoire was no surprise, neither was Anonymous Noise, though it’s a bit weird to see a Sentai dub without a collector’s set. Spirit of the Sun is the only one that seemed unusual, but it’s much shorter than a TV show, so it would have been relatively cheap to dub. I also imagine the license wasn’t the expensive, especially considering Maiden Japan picked it up. |

Kind of a surprise seeing how I liked both series; Grimoire of Zero was The Slayers And Wolf while Anonymous Noise was one of the few shoujo series that didn't make me instantly hate any of the characters... though Yuzu was somewhat borderline. He was far more believable as woman than a potential romantic lead.

Grimoire of Zero and Spirit of The Sun look like anime i'd enjoy. I watched anonymous voice subbed wasn't a fan.

Since these aired spring last year, hopefully we’ll see a home video release of Made in Abyss 3 months after these! Unless the Japanese license holders force Sentai to hold it for a year since it was popular...

and its not a ridiculously popular idol show like K-ON! , idolmaster and love live to warrant an english dub. if it was, it would have gotten on. while i am glad that grimoire of zero is getting one, i was kinda hoping that another zero series (specifically zero no tsukaima) was finally getting an english dub. but alias.
afraid your incorrect about that! they are also starting to unfortunately to copy sentai/section 23's practices. if they weren't, then harem series like OniAi and Onamaori Himari (i think that's what its called. correct me if i'm wrong) , sunrise mecha series like buddy complex and the kiddy grade sequel would have gotten an english dub but they were given the sub only treatment. |
