I'm guessing this might be an animated movie.
Looking forward to it.

This is Madhouse's face. Although this aspect mecha makes me think that can go to Sunrise or Studio Trigger. Maybe Bones, but this aspect of the designer does not seem to be very consistent with their style.

It's Production I.G. and Digital Frontier, according to Gekkan Hero.

Why does this Ultraman look like the Guyver to me?

Great news. It seems a little early to announce it when it's a full year away but I'm looking forward to it.

Hmm! So the Gridman series will be something different. Apparently the production [Tsuburaya Production] intends two series, one animated in 2D by Trigger and another in CG. the Digital Frontier CG is spectacular. I watched a little Infini-T Force and can say that I was impressed. I took a short break in the series, as well as in other series, to see it at the end of the season.
Wow, that's really a pity. Although I believe that a series with the quality of Gantz film should be a difficult task as it should cost a lot. Infini-T Force is good, but it does not compare to the Gantz movie.

It’s not the first Ultraman anime, right?

I guess it'll be a 2D/CG mix. Digital Frontier will do all in-suit fight sequences.

Darn. I wonder who'll do the scripts. This duo has some a weird pacing style, so I think it should be handled carefully.
Nevertheless, I'm really interested with that Linebarrel one shot. Can't say I was satisfied with how it ended.

*Ultraman Anime*
YEAH YES TODAY IS A GOOD DAY
*2019 release date*
Oh...that sucks...
*Production I.G. and Digital Frontier*
AWESOME! I have faith of Production I.G. for animation, and, being one of three people in the world watching Infini-T Force this season, have an even bigger faith in Digital Frontier and what animation they are contributing. (I know Land of the Lustrous as been discussed as having really good 3DCG, but Infini-T Force has had some awesome animation.)
Weird tangent aside, I am completely on board this hype train. Whatever the project turns out to be (TV Anime or Movie), I am behind it and ready to throw my money towards it.

I would imagine that "Guvyer" took inspiration from this series. Too bad Viz never released more of the "Guyver" manga.

Well shit, this is a dissapointment. Judging by the trailer it looks like it's going to ignore all of the manga artstyle. This is why 3DCG won't do, Where's the thick black line that gives a ton of expression? Why is the color so bland?
please forgive my rant.
