Well that sucks for MYTH&ROID as Mayu’s singing was my favorite aspect of the group. We’ll have to see how good KIHOW is, but in the meantime I will be watching out for Mayu’s next song like a hawk.

I still find it odd that they will announce someone quitting or being fired as they "graduated." Sucks, I just discovered Myth and Roid and really dug their music.

Probably because they band was already set to have another vocalist. They're not disbanding.

Well, Mayu was a high school student when MYTH&ROID started their music activity and the band isn't disbanding after her quit, so the "graduation" as singer is more proper term for her quitting, like with the idol unit members.

And I think it softens the overall blow of the reality of her leaving.
This way, if there were disagreements that caused her to leave, saying she ‘graduated’, decorates that possibility with a nice little bow.

Sad to hear about this, as their Overlord closer was my pick for the best ED of 2015 and their Sage of Tanya the Evil opener is one of my top candidates for best OP of 2017. Still, look forward to seeing what both the singer and the group do in the future.

Mayu's voice is good enough that she can easily pursue a solo career. No biggie, I like to hear her as a solo artist. Most likely a different direction and style than the group.

WTF! But Mayu was the main reason (actually, the other reasons are tied with the main reason) why I loved M&R.
I'm so sad. I wish Mayu the best and hope she sings songs for anime.
KIHOW has big shoes to fill.
