I didn't personally, but I saw someone else on another site commented saying they had read it as Beatles.

dm: Lupin would mope and distance himself from his friends and give up stealing to major in Philosophy. Also, he'd refuse Fujiko's advances, 'cus he feels uncomfortable with how aggressive she is at times.

Wow. This came from out of nowhere. I remember years back when Tokyo Otaku Mode provided English translations of the novels.

IIRC, it does. Maybe because of the character designs, it kinda starts with a Guilty Crown feel.
Darn. I'm happy with the director, but I'm not excited about the series composition. Still, I hope it's good.

I was thinking that they named the novel by sticking an "s" on Beatles if that's what you mean.

It had me interested until the "yet"... wait, this isn't a series but a stand alone novel from 2012? Man, now I really don't get it....

Always looking forward to Mizushima's next directing projects so this is awesome news out of nowhere like BlueAlf said. The art looks real nice from here, the otaku mode character and translation page, and that otaku usa page.
