Since they are running the contest I am sure that they will pick something reasonable. I have the feeling though that half the entries for the contest will be isekai.

Hardly the "world's" first Christian comic, but certainly Japan's first Christian LN/manga--
At least, that isn't using it for clueless nationalistic Western/other-religion baiting, and in whatever form Japan still interprets mostly Catholic-based Christianity.
(And certainly not the first Christian anime, for those who grew up seeing the 80's "Superbook" show up on the televangelist cable channels.)

You know, Jesus wouldn't be a bad LN protagonist. You could just have him go around exorcising demons with his harem, I mean, apostles and his special power would be coming back from the dead. The sequel would take place after the apocalypse and be called The Second Coming.

The Bible would make for a surefire good LN (however, it would be 18+ if they did it, so it would have to be marketed well so it's promoted as an adult LN and not a hentai).

The day has come.
A Minister is in a harem.
I still can not believe that God sent me to Preach the Gospel to an all Girl`s Christian School for Troubled Youth

It's a bit odd to call it a "World first" when there's already heaps of christian fiction published in the USA. Would be best to call it a first for Japan.
My mother-in-law reads "christian romance". It's absolutely awful!

I personally think something on the Crusades could be neat. Of course though, it would be politically incorrect to the extreme.

The Lot arc is bound to be filled with happy fun times.
But yeah, an adaptation to the many stories within the Bible would be 18+ depending on how you depict certain events.
