The SAO movie comes out on home video here just Christmas time! With Asuna and Leafa being waifu, that is a way to bring in the Christmas spirit.

Still no Heaven's Feel news? Come on, Aniplex USA, what's keeping you?

The first movie hasn't even come out in theaters. I don't expect us to get any news on a home release here until there is a home release in Japan first.

Indeed there's the future home release, but I'm hoping to hear news of a theatrical release, unless Aniplex USA plans on cutting it super close.

If it's anything like Kizu, they won't announce the US theatrical release until after it has premiered in Japan. The third Kizu's US theatrical run was announced in February after premiering in January.

Didn't they announce Ordinal Scale before its theater release? That's what I was hoping for, especially since it's a Fate title. Well, either way, it'll be worth the wait and I'll be gratified if they pick up the Heaven's Feel trilogy at all!

The US release of Ordinal Scale was not long after the worldwide premiere. While I would prefer it that way for Heaven's Feel, I expect it to be more in line with their other releases. Either way it will be worth the wait like you said.

Since Aniplex has released some of their recent/semi-recent dub releases on Hulu, I hope they can do the same for the SAO movie. Heck, I would even think putting a pay-to-watch version on YT. Price wise, $5 might be good considering the prices of a lot of DVDs/BD.

So is AoA gonna stream Koyomimonogatari on CR or something, or is it and the Kizu movies bluray exclusives?
Also hoping they put Ordinal Scale on Netflix like they did the Madoka movies.

70 for a single cour show is still too much, Aniplex. Really wish people would stop supporting these prices.

I have stopped, personally. Tsukimonogatari was the last I picked up; nothing in Owarimonogatari (season one), Kizumonogatari, or Koyomimonogatari was enough for me to pay for shiny discs of them.
Owarimonogatari season two might be different. I'm willing to be convinced.

I don't think it's too much for a single cour show considering it's more along the lines of what Sentai Filmworks and Funimation would consider a collector's edition or limited edition since it comes with more than just the show. Sentai's Blu-ray release for the single cour, Haven't You Heard I'm Sakamoto is about 45-50 with just the show and nothing extra.
HOWEVER, I do think it's too much for a subbed only single cour show even with all of that stuff. If it were dubbed as well, I could find it justifiable.

This is a weird complaint considering $70 would be about a 40% discount on their regular "single cour" releases... This isn't a cour of anime in the normal sense. This is a bunch of shorts that total 150 minutes. Not even close to a full cour of anime.
I hope these do stream somewhere. Even for Aniplex, the prices on Kizu and now Koyomi have been a little steeper than usual and that's pretty frustrating. Get things back in line, please. $70 for a one hour movie is a bit much even for Japan. This is MORE expensive than their release...

I stopped supporting Aniplex releases a long time ago; I had terrible buyers remore when I realized how much I spent on just Bakemonogatari, and hated the thought of spending so much to complete the series, even if I love it. As long as people buy them they won't change.
