I'm down only on the grounds that they leave Shinji Miyazaki's film score intact.

It'd be awesome if this was the first Pokemon movie released in North America to offer a subbed version as an option.

Yeah I agreed with you! They should do the same thing with Sun & Moon on Disney too!

Finally! Pokémon: I Choose You is available for the entire world to see! Now to hope that The Pokémon Company won't change the background music...despite knowing that the odds of that happening are low.

I hope it's subbed and unedited. I'm not gonna support the modern Pokemon dub.

It will probably dubbed only if that's the case, I don't mind. I've been liking Pokemon's modern dub since Diamond and Pearl.

So they finally changed the new character names. As expected.
So what was the point of Japan showing off the international logo of the movie when they were going to use what's in that visual.

I'm not a betting person, but I bet that you would need the dragon balls for that happen.

I doubt it...It might be subtitled only, actually yes. So yeah.

Come to think of it, the international debut of Pokémon: I Choose You reminds me of something...
Has Veronica Taylor been made aware of its announcing?

She knows and she's mentioned several times on Twitter she'd be more than happy to reprise the role (probably won't happen though *sigh*)

I'm not sure if you have a reason to believe it won't be released dubbed, or if it's just your gut feeling (which, I respect your opinion either way) but November is the month that the Pokémon movies usually aired on Cartoon Network dubbed in most of the recent years. (sometimes early December)
Personally, I can't see them putting it in theaters subbed as a possibility at all, really. The show and movies never have the original audio available, only dubbed on all releases and the few times we've gotten special Pokemon theater releases, they have been dubbed. For example, Pokemon the Movie White: Victini and Zekrom.
Pokemon International always gets the movies and first few episodes of any given series to dub them in a very short amount of time, with say, the first 2 Sun & Moon episodes airing dubbed roughly only 2 weeks after they aired in Japan. If they were doing this on the same weekend it premiered in Japan, I could maybe see it, but they're putting it out the same time they always do on TV dubbed.
I wish we would get subbed Pokemon more than anything, don't get me wrong. Just thought the facts of past precedent should be presented.

I'd be ecstatic if this screening is subbed. As mentioned before though if they keep the original score by Shinji Miyazaki I'll make due with the dub for the sake of supporting theatrical Pokemon screenings.

I'm a massive Pokemon fan be it games or anime, but this film was straight-up bad. I was lucky to catch a screening of it while in Japan and I was thoroughly disappointed.

I think the world won't have to wait too long after the debut of I Choose You before The Pokémon Company internationally announces the Special Events of Ash Cap Pikachu and Marshadow...
