I know that Strange Journey was supposed to take place in a different universe from all the other SMT games, but given the sheer number of references to the game there were in SMT IV and SMT IVF, this seems like a great opportunity for ATLUS to go back and make the three games canonical with one another. I'm not sure if they're interested in doing that, but it wouldn't take that much rewriting on their part to make it happen.

No English dub is kind of a deal breaker for me though.

Man I can't wait for this game. The original was good, but if they fix the grinding flaws and add more to the story. Then I will be so happy to jump back into this game.

It's ironic for there to be no english dub all things considered.

what make you think SJ isn't canon? I only remember they (either Yamai or Kaneko) said that Strange Journey isn't SMT4. Different world from the first two SMT, yes, but so does Nocturne and SMT4, since Nocturne (and Raidou 1) already established the whole multiverse thing in the form of Amala network.

Tell me about it. I'll still get it of course, but it's going to be a bit out of place after all the English dubbed SMT and Persona titles.
