S1 and the Movie were good. S2 wasn't great. Hopefully this film is more like the original anime.

Season 2 is a mess if you haven't read the prequel novels, and those prequels are what this project is adapting. Return of Kings makes a lot more sense if you know these stories, because half of the significant things reference things that happened in these. Fushimi is actually one of the most interesting characters in anything I've ever seen, but half of his story is in Lost Small World, which hasn't gotten an anime until this, and the anime parts make no sense without that. He just comes off as a huge jerk, but there's more to him than that. . . . . . . . . . now the question is... who will play Niki...? |

I'm looking forward to this. I've seen S1 and the movie but didn't get to S2 yet. Wondering now if I should just wait for these.
