I love watching stuff like this. Arcades are the best places to go people-watching. 'Tis a shame arcades are an endangered species outside of Japan.

What makes this even more impressive is that he was playing multiplayer by himself. Basically, he was playing the same song twice with one hand for each.

Whoa, that's what's going on? I don't know much about this game, so I just thought it was single-player and at some absurd difficulty.

I think single-player uses only one drum. The newswriter apparently thought the same as you...

So good. The fact he was doing multiplayer is pretty darn awesome.
Though I wonder if people like him and the other dude in the video linked always play like that, or only when there is a crowd around...

Single player uses one drum and you have two drumsticks to play it with. Multipler uses both drums, so one person on each drum, with two sticks each. He did multipler but with one person on both drums, and one stick for each drum, which means he was going super fast to make up for the beats you're normally meant to hit with two sticks.
