This is what happens when the response of "why not both?" is given to the question of whether one desires something sweet or savoury.
And let it be a lesson to us all.

Considering how good chocolate flavoured crisps/chips actually are, I'd actually really like to try these :')

I think the chocolate-flavored yakisoba would be kinder to my stomach than the soy sauce- and curry-flavored ice cream products...

Generally, I love Myojo Yakisoba, I just can't see myself trying this. I already made that mistake with the special Halloween edition inku edition last year, I'm not going to be lead astray by the choko version this year.

I've seen brown, cacao-infused pasta, but honestly, I wouldn't try this even if I was paid two billion bucks-

This reminds me of the carnival foods like a deep-fried donut burger that carnival stand operators come up with each year just to get attention. The weirder it is, the more news coverage it gets.

Deep-Fried Donut Burger...I would almost certainly have a terrible stomach-ache eating one, not to mention that the taste of it would probably be bad...

If you go looking for whole rice in Japan, you might be tempted to buy what looks like it because it's brown. It's probably chocolate-infused rice, though. Chocolate pasta and chocolate soba are hardly a stretch from there, I think.

I eaten chocolate pasta end it was good so if this is made only with chocolate (no meat or soy sauce) then the taste also will be good.

Come to think of it, chocolate is a typical constituent of a Mexcian mole sauce, so perhaps this practice can produce worthwhile dishes under certain circumstances.

This is minute compared to the disgusting stuff they sell in Tokyo, like vending machines that sell dirty panties.
