I don't know what this series is but Spring 2017 will be awesome season, compared to winter 2017 and autumn 2016 it will be like heaven and earth.

Part of the premise kind of reminds me of Bokurano and that show is actually one of my favorite anime series, so I'm interested to see how dark this will get. With this, Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho, Clockwork Plant, Sakurada Reset, Youjo Senki, Kabuki-bu, and the Other World Dining Hall, and with recent releases such as Re:Zero, Konosuba, and Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, it seems like the anime industry is trying new and different things with light novel adaptations.

The "English" title is just what appear in the cover, not a translation. Just look closer at the pic.

thanks, while Iw as not put out by the title, the flood of special terms in teh description turned me off, since having more than one in universe term to describe something simple is usually a bad sign. |

I haven't heard of this before, but the article blurb merely makes me think of the conveyor-belt produced, dime in a dozen magical school shows... and no reason given to expect anything better.

I'd hamfistly call it:
"Hey, are you doing anything this weekEND? Could you spare the TIME and, maybe, save me?" Getting the pun between "shuumatsu" (end of the world/end times), and "shuumatsu" (weekend) is hard to fit in there... this is my best effort. |

Thanks, I didn't bother looking at the kanji, but I felt like weekend was a better fit than just end. The given translation is hella awkward though. I couldn't tell if it was trying to be "can you save me?" Or "can I save you?" either.

It's the official English title listed on all the covers of the light novel volumes. As a note, ANN will italicize English titles in parenthesis like that after the Japanese title /only/ if they're official. If instead they're our staff's translation of a title, we'll put the English translation in parenthesis after the Japanese title but not in italics. If the show/novels/manga gets licensed and a company gives it a new official English title, we'll switch to that. |
