I heard some good things about this original arc:
-The Sae stuff was good and had a nice ending
-The Guardians got more screentime, while in the manga they were cameos
-The latest chapter included more manga stuff if you ask
Let´s continue this discussion. Anyone that can signal the good and the bad here, based on its own storytelling, not on how based of the manga it is? If you saw it of course
Also, does anyone has a confirmation of an interview where Sukeno says that some of the fillers where his ideas please? I´ve been searching it a little

You mean, soon it'll be safe to come back? Dropped Twin Star line a rock after the anime original stuff. It was just terrible!

It seems as if you saw only 2 episodes of it. I heard some good things about this original arc:

-The latest chapter included more manga stuff if you ask

The writing and art in the anime is just subpar in comparison to the manga, sorry not sorry
Also, there is no confirmation because that is not true. The only involvement Sukeno had with the anime is the original character design. I've been following his Twitter and read his answers to questions that fans asked him and they indicate that he's been watching the anime, but he doesn't know how the story/characters are being handled behind the scenes.

I understand you bro, but these are the things one has to survive every day in anime fandom. How much have you read the source material up to today?
I understand that some of the writing is questionable, but I´m not a supporter of the "don´t watch fillers because they´re bad" claim that drives people crazy and ignorant at the same time.

Also, let's make some time to count the good fillers from Pierrot, so we can have a concience that not all of their fillers are bad
-The Dragon Spot Arc, where Saw was(Twin Star)
-Zanpakuto Rebellion(Bleach)
-Power(Naruto)
-The Kaguya Arc(again Naruto)
-and... well if anyone knows more good fillers to complete the list please
If some people didn´t like them, I understand them, but if anyone had watched these before, they wouldn´t say that.
Also, if it was a faithful adaptation, either it would be a shonen most people would despise because the manga has A LOT of asspulls and some bad narrative choices, and the supposed guardians are mostly cameos up to this point. Or it would be a VERY NICHE product like Hinomaru Zumo, and I doubt it would do a great boost, since is a monthly manga that does sell slightly over 100,000 copies. I love the series and all, but I think some of the original additions were good. No offense
As a more open question for discussion, and a little bit off topic: Why is important for an adaptation to be 100% faithful to its source material for anime fans? Which is the deal with this? So you will never read the source material AT ALL in the first place? The JoJo adaptations clearly make their manga irrelevant because you saw everything faithfully adapted. While in the USA the mayority of adaptations are clearly unfaithful and they make you read the source so you can see how good are both on their own, in Japan the faithful adaptations don´t help to see both products this way. Instead is a "see either one or the other" case. Please let´s continue this discussion. I´ll hear your opinion

I love the series and all and read the manga up to chap. 34, but I think some of the original additions were good, and not all is rose color in the source material(Benio taking a backseat most of the time since chapter 1, and now she is rendered useless). No offense

Well people who've read the manga or started reading it after watching it find that they could've gotten something better, so of course they'd get mad about this anime.
People who say otherwise are usually the ones who haven't read the source material so they have nothing else to base their opinions on besides the anime only.
And original stuff aside, the animation is just really bad, which is a valid reason to get upset because it doesn't do the art of the manga any justice whatsoever.

No, this is not the issue at all. It's unrealistic to expect a studio to 100% faithfully adapt a manga, everyone knows that. The issue HERE is that the Sousei no Onmyouji anime consists of over 70% mediocre filler compared to canon material. It's sad that there are more filler episodes than there are episodes that adapt the manga (and even those have filler for half of the episode).
"Oh but that's because there's not enough of the source material to adapt so they're making fillers until there are more chapters." Wrong.
The staff have been purposely ignoring several chapters just for the hell of it. They've got so many fillers with a few moments of the manga sprinkled in that it looks like there's no sign of the story returning to the manga's plot at at all. I honestly don't know how they would go back to the manga plotline after this whole Kuranashi arc and the show will most likely end with another anime original arc.
And the decision to introduce all the 12 Commanders earlier is a bad decision on the staff's part because they're not really doing anything with them. Those characters in addition to all of the additional basara gives the anime no time to explore any of their characterizations because there are just too many characters being introduced all at once.
And don't get me started on how these anime original arcs made all the characters act OOC. Though this happened even before the dragon spots arc, but the fillers just made it even more noticeable. Kinako, for instance: everyone hates him in the anime but he acts nothing like this in the manga. And lots of people are complaining that Rokuro and Benio have been constantly losing or always in need of saving in the filler arcs and guess what: that wasn't an issue in the manga either. And I feel like it's most likely because the staff feels like it's easier to animate them losing than successfully punching/kicking things, which is pretty sad.
