I love how they include Aoi Hana. I mean, it'S obvious it would have been here, but I always feel like it's a forgotten anime.

I recognized most of the anime featured. They've really done a lot of enjoyable stuff for me. Was happy to spot Mahoraba, Sweet Blue Flowers, and Shigofumi. Also like that they had their Anime Mirai work, Aki no Kanade, in there.

Seeing Orphen brought a big smile to face.

Interesting that they included things that they worked on heavily, but were not necessarily the lead studio. I suppose Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou was a joint effort with Gainax.

For better or worst, JC staff has ended up with a number of contemporal anime series that certainly have "that era of anime" kind of look.
They have hits, misses, and everything inbetween, I hope we still have JC staff around for many more years to come.

Definitely became one of the most known studio and lately they are bringing out more and more anime even though some seem to be rushed works because just too many anime at same time. Anyway i truly believe the future for it looks bright and we will get plenty more good ones

Over the years I have proclaimed myself as a JC Staff w****, so I love this tribute to their productions. They have made so many series for which I love and appreciate, including my absolute favorite of all time as well as several others I would place on a top 5 or top 10 personal best list.
I don't know where my fandom would be without their efforts, and to this day I'm still wildly entertained by their shows. I kind of feel like it's hard to quantify why, but for some reason their techniques just really appeal to me. This means that when they announce that they are doing something new I can be fairly certain that I will like it. Though this doesn't mean I watch everything they work on, it does give an extra boost to my interest when it comes to checking out new shows. Here's to more great productions from them for the years to come.

Man, I recognize a lot of those great shows, and there are a number I can name but haven't seen, but there are some I keep thinking I *should* know but just can't bring to name. Also, some that make me want to look for the series. What's the one that's set in the orchestra?

The number of shows I recognized vs the number that I didn't was very very heavily towards recognize. It always amazed me how many tentacles the studios have had in each other shows.

Nodame Cantabile: a great show, by the way.
And they put in that kiss (fanboy squeals). Boy do I miss Toradora!
