Sounds interesting, I'm sure it will be adorable. But I wonder when they plan on airing them, and whether it will be CG or 2D animation? Either way, I saw them in Phily this past May and their show was absolutely electrifying. They had such an energetic stage presence, and everyone was having a great time. I'd love to go to another one if they do another US tour someday. Though I'd definitely avoid floor tickets next time, the mosh pit was BRUTAL. Lol, I never would have predicted that from a Babymetal concert, but they actually have some seriously hardcore fans. Pretty impressive for three Japanese schoolgirls.

They're getting adult sized now. Wonder if the name will change at some point.

As much as I love Babymetal, the fact that it'll be animated except with some live-action performances is a huge bummer. I want to see the girls acting themselves as opposed to their cartoon versions.

They are called Babymetal , not for being young, but for creating a new metal genre "Babymetal", something like new metal or kawaii metal. So even if they get older it won't change the name. I hope I clarified it.

I was at the PlayStation Theater in NYC. It was the best show I ever went to. Unlike you, I loved the floor pit. It was brutal and I got sore all over my body, but I wouldn't change a bit. The crowd was between 13-60 years old. Lots of heavy metal guys on their 40-50s. Babymetal is the real deal, if they can keep up the momentum with a third hit album, they will definitely take over the world.
