This is excellent news. I am very looking forward to owning Sweet Blue Flowers in English.

I got QQ Sweeper at Barnes & Noble's last buy 2 get 1 free manga sale (it was a perfect choice at exactly 3 volumes) but I had heard that the story had a direct continuation that was considered a new series and wasn't licensed yet. I'm so happy I didn't have to wait long for that license! Thanks, Viz!
And, hey Viz, if you're reading this: congratulations on Yona of the Dawn making the NYTimes best seller list this week! Doesn't that make you want to quickly license all the shojo series with recent anime adaptations? Like maybe Snow White with the Red Hair?

So good to hear someone finally bringing an English edition of Aoi Hana for print. I like eBooks but, the previous English localization was abysmal. Thank you VIZ, I can't wait!

If they're gonna do the yuri thing, can we get Sakura Trick, instead?

Queen's Quality!!! Yay!! I expected it was just a matter of time, but I was juuust about ready to buy the first two volumes in Japanese while I waited. (I may still—the non-ending of QQ Sweeper makes me impatient for more—but of course I'll be getting it in English too!)

So I guess it's not just yaoi publishers who are abandoning Digital Manga.

Well happy for those that want Sweet Blue Flowers I watched some of the Anime and honestly was not that impressed. Good for those that like it though nice to see more Zelda Manga getting licensed the The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition, Vol. 1: Ocarina of Time Parts 1 & 2 seems like something I would like.

I want Sakura Trick too!
Aoi Hana is great. I'm glad it's licensed. When is it going to be released? 2017? If so, 2017 is going to be the year of yuri! I'm so happy!
So much good yuri coming next year. I wonder where I can fit all of the books?

I never thought I'll be saying those words until now.
Solid pickup from Viz considering I thought Aoi Hana will languish in the digital realm space forever. Now we need Kodansha or Vertical to join in the fray!

I thought so too--especially ironic since while Sweet Blue Flowers was in licensing limbo Wandering Son was getting the deluxe hardcover treatment from Fantagraphics. Now the shoe might end up on the other foot, given the rumblings from last year about Wandering Son's future at Fantagraphics being uncertain due to lower-than-expected sales.

I'm happy to see Sweet Blue Flowers coming out from Viz! Doesn't quite make up for my sadness that Fantagraphics doesn't seem to be going to finish its wonderful edition of Wandering Son.

Sweet Blue Flowers... From Viz. Who would had thought? I really like how Viz is getting pretty ballsy with their license pick ups nowadays. Last year they picked up Legend of the Galactic Heroes as well. Kudos. Hopefully we can get some other Takako Shimura titles as well.
