The designs are cool, but I'll never get over the new Riders not having compound bug-eyes.
It looks childish and toyetic and silly, and that's why I'm intrigued.

When I saw this on /m/ a while back I thought this was either something similar to Kamen Rider G for promotional material or some parody (mainly because I avoid generals), but the next series?  Let alone the 45th anniversary!? Well.... At least they're thinking outside the box. This reminds me that I need to get around to watching the Drive movie and Ghost.

Really gotten off track, haven't they? I really wish we could get more stuff like Gaim. For such a stupid theme, that's the best writing this show's had in years.

I doubt we'll get anything on the level of Drive or OOO for a while, but then again Drive is the only Kamen Rider entry better than Skyrider, which is saying a lot seeing as I've seen the franchise in its entirety from the 1971 series to Drive. Gaim was a set back, but not as a step back as W was. At least the boring soap opera style that was used from Kuuga to Kiva's first half is finally in the toilet so I doubt we'll get something as awful as Kabuto or The Next any time soon.

The franchise survived Ryuki, Blade, Kabuto, W, and Gaim, as long as Toei actually sticks to the theme and not skip on it (looking at you, Megaranger) it'll be fine and we'll get another Decade.

Also main writer for Donten ni Warau and main writer/creator of the original concept for Luck and Logic too.

again its funny people judge just by the character designs just like Gaim before where they think its going to be goofy due to the fruit warriors theme despite Gen Urobuchi a.k.a. Urobutcher's name attached to it & the fruit theme is revealed to be also a religious symbolism (one which is the fruit of knowledge of the Adam & Eve) then people think Ghost is going to be a dark series as it involves dead people but it turns out (to me especially) the atmosphere feels super cartoony as heck that Den-O seems normal by standards, also the historical figures were downplayed & reduced to disposable toy gimmicks.

Seriously? OOO was pretty boring in retrospect, with Ankh being the only worthwhile thing. W, Gaim, and Fourze were great. I'm looking forward to seeing how ExAid stacks up.

Actually, Decade was magenta, which is officially defined as "a purplish red," so technically he'd be a red (most people consider magenta a shade of pink, though).
