I've like the Sun and Moon Pokemon this far but have struggled to find one I'd like on my team.
The second I saw Salandit I knew I wanted it on my team.

I have a slight....obsession with Poison type Pokemon. In gen 6, I even made a competitive team of all poison types (the team has 7 members, one mega and one non-mega, so I have: Mega-Beedril, Scolipede, Crobat, Weezing, Tentacruel, Toxicroak, and Poison Heal Gliscor, who isn't poison type, but has the spirit of a poison Pokemon, so he fit the theme and I wanted him in), so I was sold on more poison types even before I saw this video, but now I simply know: Salandit is my destiny!

Thanks to Salander's Corrosion, even the bulkiest Poison or Steel-type Pokémon may not last long against it...

It's a fire type, so it doesn't really need Toxic to deal with the likes of Skarmory. It makes more sense to just roast 'em with Fire Blast or something. Heatran though....

True...Salander's Fire-type moves can make quick work of Steel-types...
Then again, it has been said that it won't be an exceptionally powerful Pokémon...

As the first Fire/Poison type I don't think the design could be much more perfect, they nailed! I really hope we get more type combo's that we ain't seen. There are quite a lot of type combo's not utilised yet, also Pokemon just keep releasing these broken abilities, Gen 7 competitive is going to be interesting.

Yeah though of course it could always evolve but even if it doesn't, it could still be extremely useful, switch in and poison a mon then switch out, I assume Salandit will be quite speedy.

Over the last seventy-two hours, I have forgotten that there exist Pokémon games which do not require physical trespassing. Thank you for informing me otherwise.
