Honestly I can barely afford a memory card for the vita. It had so much potential.

Very appropriate that Atlus picked this up, considering the writer. Though unless they release it at budget price, I doubt I'll buy it day one.

Or, you know, because Sony dropped the ball and US retailers have pretty much wiped all existence of the platform off the face of the earth.

Gamestop, Frys , and Best Buy all have vita games.

Its still a really good system if you are into Japanese style niche games, in fact it probably one of the best systems for it.

And completely agree with the poster , know your demographics, the people who play this type of game are more often then not the type to prefer physical over digital , so a digital only release will not go over well.

^Me too. I'm really disappointed we're not getting a physical release for this game. I had the same disappointment when we didn't get a physical release for Soul Sacrifice Delta and Oreshika in the west. Well, more reason why the Vita basically is (and has been) screwed over in the West.

It's a vicious cycle - Vita is not popular in the West, so they release digital-only, which more makes Vita not popular in the West, and so forth.

Even Sony all but abandoned first-party games on the Vita and doesn't even acknowledge Vita's existence anymore on its press releases nowadays

The Pure Game store here in Sasebo has lots of Vita games. I understand why people would like the physical copies, they look pretty nice.
