Kiznaiver's sales are not off to a promising start.

Happy about Gundam, sad about Kiznaiver It deserves better sales than this.

Kiznaiver airs at 23:30. Maybe that's why people simply watch it, rather then bye BD? I don't have any other explanation why it bombed THIS hard.

Bds are only bougth by collectors, so that is not the case.
Its not like its uncommon for anime to do this bad.
EndRide is estimated to have below 150 disc sales, for example,

Endride is made to promote a game, if I remember correctly, so sales don't matter in it's case, unlike Kiznaiver, which is completely original series.

Ye... that does not change anything about the low disc sales...

Glad to see the panzers continue to dominate the chart for yet another week. I believe the movie just passed 200k total copies sold (BD+DVD).

Not terribly surprised by Kiznaiver's numbers, but I am still disappointed.

Not just a slow start; this is an outright flop.

We are halfway through the year and only KonoSuba has broken 10k and may still drop below. Spring series predictions say none will break 10k average.
It is catastrophe year.

I've seen the first three episodes of Kiznaiver and I thought it was awful, very disappointed with the studio. It sure looked pretty and sleek though.
Having said that, I'm not happy with it flopping, 'cause I've been in the camp of "loving a series that ends up flopping" and that's an unpleasant feeling.
In fact, while it's no failure, it angers me that The Origin sells less than Unicorn, considering that plot-wise is much better.

I didn't expect Kiznaiver to be a success, but I also didn't expect it to bomb so hard. The show itself has been rather disappointing, so I'm not too heartbroken. Hopefully Luluco will do better and Trigger will start focusing in that kind of show instead of the Kiznaivers and Inou-battles

Not really. BDs are bought in the first place as a piece within peoples' collection.
Re:Zero for example airs even later ( 1:35 ) and is likely to break 10k if it continues to rise like that.
It simply didn't go well with the Japanese. Same happens with Boku no Hero just not as rough.

Not even Macross Delta is predicted to break 10k? That strikes me as unusual considering the single sales and how explosively popular it's been.

Actually it is at ~13k at the moment.
Kabaneri and JoJo are almost at 10k and maybe break it until release
Re:Zero is around 8k and with the explosion in sales ( highest increase rate of all the shows this season ) it might break 10k if we consider the usual underestimation that stalker has.
