I have to be honest; it doesn't look too bad. Only the explosions look dated, and while the gameplay looks simple, at least it's not a rip-off of Mega Man. As for the characters talking, it seems like it's going to be humorous (a la Kid Icarus Uprising), so I'll live through that.

Well, aside from the pizza-texture explosions, the game doesn't look too bad, but even then, Mighty No. 9 still has that flat look to its graphics and the concept of stunning and dashing into enemies can eventually get stale.
