I don't mean to judge a book by its cover, but this anime seems like a waste of UVERworld's talent. Sure, they'll make an awesome song as expected, but....

Agreed, Uverworld can be a bit cheesy, but they are perfect for Shonen and more teen-based anime that take themselves more seriously.

The previously did the opening for Bleach so they are no strangers to doing kid show OPs. Not sure what the big deal is though. Not only is Puzzles and Dragons one of the most popular franchises in Japan so any band would love to be a part of it for more promotion, there's no rule that says kids anime can't have theme songs by certain groups.
