I was just wondering which Manga you think has the worst art, even if it has a good story?
In my opinion, it's Scryed. From all my mangas in my collection, Scryed is has the worst art because the drawings are sloppy. |

Really... the character desing is awful!! Terrible hair style as well..... I just cant stand to look at it sometime... but I like the plot  maybe its because I am basketball freak  nyo

I'm probably in the minority, but I can't stand One Piece. I hate how they draw the characters.

Ugh, it has to be Peach Girl.
Oh...wait, bad art and a good plot? Hmmm, probably FAKE or the early novels of Oh My Goddess! |

Scryed definately has some weird art. But I still bought all 5 volumes anyway. The women's bodies are disturbingly...er...supple, if you know what I mean.
FAKE does not have the best art either and it looks weird when your reading the shounen-ai parts, but I love the story. I thought Jing King of Bandits looked kinda wacked. Yet I heard it was a fun story. I love One Piece and the art doesn't bother me, even if the charcters look ugly.

Garasu no Kamen (Glass Mask)
Old, very old (as in ancient), shoujo manga style art. It's not pretty. What's amazing is how the drawing style doesn't change a bit in almost 30 years. But the story is addicting. I just wish that the series will end someday, though. The first volume came out in 1976

As big a fan as I am, Initial D isn't very pretty at all. Shigeno-san's artwork takes a lot of getting used to, especially the way he draws lips and eyebrows.
However, by about the 8th volume there's a bit of a shift that makes things better. Maybe a chance meeting with Yoshitaka Amano, I'm not sure. Also, for pretty horrible artwork I should mention Hanaukyo Maid Team. Beyond the obvious Steel Angel Kurumi copycat statement, the artwork is so blase as to be offensive. At least Shigeno was unique. |

Because the artwork is so horrid, I can't seem to focus on the storyline. Not that the storyline is that great, either. |
