7729(average sales)+2660(be box )= 10389(new average)
Wow, Guilty Crown sold more than 10000 copies in a average, Wowwwww....sounds like dream
Although I may not love the show that much, but as a IG fan, I am happy of every deserving yen they got

I think Valkyrie Drive seems to be okay, despite the numbers being on the lower end...

BD boxes released years afterward don't tend to count towards the average.

Are you sure? All the sales data I see, be it in Japanese, Chinese or English, all count BD box re-release towards final average.
At least that is what I see so far for all other big titles, I am not trying to start an argument and I stand corrected if anything proven otherwise

Not even close. We have a whole other half in the DVD sales (btw, the DVDs costs like, 5$ less, so, the difference is not that much).

The new sales are not measured with the averages cause well..becuase those averages were for each volume...which means that each one sold over 7k..at least...there were 12 in total so that would be equivlant to about 80k in total disk sales for all volumes . Since this one is a box set it is really only about 3k increase...so the average is not effected much.
However what is effected is how much revenue the series has now got with this new blu ray release... complete box sets are higher priced than a volume set...so at around 3k with an average three to four times the cost...which is actually a lot of money when u put it all together,

One of my favorite shows of the seasons, so I was hoping it would do well enough to where they would think of doing more. Not sure if this is it, but ah well... Looks decent at least.

What surprises me is not only thesomewhat high placement of Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid in the Chart, but that Shinmai Maō no Testament BURST ranked higher, and by nearly 1,000 units at that.

Hurray Fafner Exodus getting some love!
I think it was the most underrated of its season.

Well, you have to take into account that if you bought all 11 volumes, you will spend much much more than the cost of the Blu-ray Box.
To own all 11 volumes would cost: 80300yen
To own the Blu-ray Box will cost: 24000yen
That's a significant difference.
