Gunm - Last Order - volume 10 NHK ni Yokoso! - volume 8 (end of series) Ah! Megami-sama. - volume 35. Interestingly enough they're selling English translations of manga now. Very weird. |

I just ordered Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 box set (the cheap economy one) and all five (of six) Beck volumes off TRSI. $15 per volume is a great deal and the RK set is part of the weekly specials.
Soon I'll also be preordering the Gankutsuou boxset off DVD Pacific.

Although shawnek hasn't posted it here yet, they're running a Central Park Media studio sale at TRSI, for the first time since February 2006. I thought I had almost everything I ever wanted from CPM, but I found a few other things worth getting:

I also took advantage of Right Stuf's CPM sale. The funny thing is, I almost bought Garzey's Wing too for the same reason, but changed my mind. Heh. Instead, I bought... Anime: Armored Trooper Votoms box set Black Jack OVA Collection II (I already have the first) Cat Soup LE Kakurenbo Patlabor OVA: Original Series Collection Project A-ko Collection Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer I now have over 30 anime pre-ordered or "on order from manufacturer" on RightStuf. Speaking of which, I have something very good to say about RightStuf. I preordered Beck Vol. 1 w/art box in June. I still haven't gotten it yet because I have Cat's Eye Vol. 1 with the same order. At the time I preordered it, Beck cost $30 and some change. As most RightStuf consumers should know, Beck Vol. 1-5 are on rebate. Therefore, Beck Vol. 1 w/art box now costs $22.49. Because my box still hasn't shipped, RightStuf lowered my order to rebate price (without me asking them to), saving me 8 dollars. Awesome, huh?

Out of depression with the whole Geneon thing, I went and bought Beck 1-5 + artbox at TRSI. Since I'll be saving about $200 with unreleased Geneon DVDs, I figured why not.

I just got my shipment of Cds from CDJapan.co.jp.
Along with a VGM CD, I got the new Eva movie soundtrack, and the Top wo Nerae 2! soundtrack. Both are excellent. |
