In the manga the artsyle shifted halfway through part 4 going from Fist of The North Star lookalikes to a more rounded and flamboyant artstyle. I guess for the anime adaptation they're using the second art style throughout all of part 4. |

Yeah, I can see how they deviated from Araki's art style this time around. It's in the eyes.
Also, Koichi's voice is wayyyy too deep. I get that they wanted to portray him as an ordinary high school kid, just really short and with a babyface, but still. I definitely imagine his voice as being higher pitched, similar to how someone like Mayumi Tanaka might portray him. But all that aside, I'm PSYCHED! David Production is doing great and I love the "specific promo in a specific place at a specific time on a specific video screen downtown" idea. Very excited that Viz and Crunchyroll have already jumped on this. Jojo is finally making the jump from obscure-ish 80s Jump (pun spotted) cult classic to hot new anime franchise. |

I'm sorry, but I hate Yuuki Kaji as Kōichi. I think he's really miscast here. Other than that, it looks great. I also can't wait to see the OP.
