You can also see Toshikazu and Tamami in the background, and both seem to be Koichi-sized.
That's really disappointing. I was hoping to see them normal-sized when introduced, only for them to look like midgets from the next episode onwards. It was seriously one of my favorite parts of Diamond is Unbreakable.
Well, the rest of the manga is still great and one of my favorite parts. I hope they keep the invisible baby and the alien, both of which never amount to anything later.

Woohoo!
Honestly love the art for the animation over Araki`s style. Sorry I just don`t enjoy the manly-esque/feminine mix upon the manga`s faces.

Welp I can only hope the animation is impressive - That'll slightly make up for the cringe Fujoshit artstyle atleast.

They'll still show them as tall villain when first introduced until they learn their lesson which they remain small for the rest of the story which is as we all normally see them now. So don't worry, they'll put them normal-sized first.

Very nice looking visual, loving the pallete of sky-tree-street. Koichi looks slightly weird here, but I do hope in animation he will look nice.

Isn't it a bit tad late for pointing out "Fujoshit artstyle" in JoJo? Like, since Part 1 and especially Part 2 you have big muscled, beautiful-looking men with thight clothes and fit bodies, being as flamboyant as possible. Part 3 and 4 aren't much different, and Part 5 just accents it harder from there on.

Not to mention that Diamond predates fujoshi as a term by a good 10 years, never mind the rest of the series.

In "At the Louvre" it's stated he's ambidextrous, hence his dual penciling/inking style seen frequently as the series progresses and in his one shots.

Oh, that's pretty neat. I suppose it makes sense for someone exceptional like him.

Everything looks great, but why on Earth does Koichi look like Krillin? He has no nose.
