Say what you may about WIT constantly doing AoT copycats... they never produce an unenjoyable show. Their stuff is always fun to watch and their animation is always of excellent quality.

People give Attack on Titan too much credit, stories with mindless-like human-eating and (sometimes) former humans creatures against humans who have to defend themselves against such creatures is way older and has worked and redone to death since waaay before.

It's true that WIT is sticking to a setting they feel comfortable with (steampunk + flashy action + human eaters) but we have to wait and see if all it's got it are old-school designs and superb animation, like I always say, it's all about execution.

It seems this show is one-cour, single-season. Since as revealed today, NoitaminA block will air Battery on July.

I really hope for 2 cours, as it may help pacing potentially. But I guess that means we will DEFINITELY see Attack on TItan s2 this fall at latest.

I can't legally stream this since I don't have Amazon Prime, so watching this amazing PV was like rubbing salt in the wound. Sad

This looks even worse than expected. It's like they're trying so hard to sell this outside its barebones premise just incase it fails. It's like watching a PV for an Aniplex anime.

Rolling Girls. And most of AoT and all of Seraph.

WIT has among the worst time management scheduling in the biz, all their shows have always dropped in quality after the first few episodes, the AoT anime was a production disaster, Rolling Girls blew all their budget on the first episode, Hoozuki was barely animated and Seraph was inconsistent. Insults removed. -Galap

It's looking to be enjoyable action schlock. Can't say am a fan of Tetsuro Araki as.a director, since it's about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the head.

Kabaneri articles are just salt in the wound to Attack on Titan fans... :/ I always feel like "What could have been" since this obviously forced Titan into cold storage.

Definitely going to watch this even if it's just for awesome WIT eye-candy. I love the character designs though.
