Oh look, we found one of them! But seriously, Trump is a joke and made a special point to insult the anime community during a speech. That is why this exists and why it is pretty funny. As for people insulting Trump in general, isn't that everyone <50? |

(No, no, no!--For the Nth time, that was another candidate trying to point out Trump's support on hate-groups, and they were the ones using all the showoff anime avatars. This urban legend got out of hand quickly. Although having avid fans among anime-watching white-supremacists isn't exactly a vote-getter either.)
Well, generally over 20, also--Most of the supporters under that demographic are the ones doing most of the chanting, who don't want to discuss foreign policy or economics, but literally wonder what doity woids (or, preferably, sexist epithets) Trump is going to drop in his speech, not like all those other boring professional candidates! In fact, Trump's rallies less begin to resemble Jerry Springer's audiences--the later full-on "Jer-RY! Jer-RY!" ones, after he stopped taking himself seriously, just tried to stage trailer-park brawls, and the audience knew it--and more like the charismatic "Messiah of the Jerks" Andrew Dice Clay concert audiences that Roger Ebert wrote about: http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/dice-rules-1991 (Yeah, something here sounds a little familiar, can't quite place it...  )
Then again, his attempt to spread his audiences through mass mind control could just be a Dark Kingdom plot. |

I might as well look at it this way: at least this impromptu Sailor Moon cosplay is a much-needed refreshment from those platitudinous "Let's Make America Great Again" speeches and racial and misogynistic remarks "The Donald" has been dishing out these past six months or so.

It's hard to take advice to knock it off from someone who believed in the previous thread about politics & anime that his/her anecdotal evidence used regarding Facebook counted as statistical evidence arguing that the majority of Trump's supports were not Christian males earning less than $50,000 annually. Also, everyone is biased. What a useless thing to say. |

If you're referring to the "single-childless-men-who-masturbate-to-anime" comment. that wasn't Trump. It was Rick Wilson on MSNBC trying to mock Trump supporters. If you actually have a different example of when Trump insulted anime fans, I would really like to see it. |
