I can't speak for Blame, but it's always a good day when finding out that a new Ito manga is licensed. He's not a home-run every time, but I haven't come across a manga he's done yet that I genuinely didn't like (although this seems more goofy than horror). Is the title "Dissolving Classroom" some sort of reference or acknowledgement to a particular Umezu series?

Sweet! A new Junji Ito manga for me to buy! I'm contractually obligated to buy all Junji Ito manga, so I am quite pleased.
Blame! never did it for me though. Talk about a manga that is all setting and literally nothing else, I couldn't follow the plot for jack. But if awesome setting is what you want, it's what you'll get.

*sigh* Yet another year I throw all my money at Vertical... I was wondering what I would do now that Gundam the Origin and Knights of Sidonia (this summer) are over with.

I'll definitely pick up Blame!, and I might check out those two other manga since they look pretty interesting.
I feel like that story summary for Blame! is begging for a pun, but I'm not smart enough to figure one out

Buy Blame sci-fi people!
It's not long. I've got em all. And continuously run into people looking for them.
Now's your chance.
I wonder if Vertical will also include/publish the NOISE tie-in as well, which is a spin-off from Blame with some short stories.

More Junji Ito manga in English is a good thing.

Awesome! I am so relieved to hear that Vertical licensed Blame! I was ready to give up waiting and start buying the Tokyopop volumes.

YES! Blame! finally, one of my favorites. I'm guessing the popularity of Sidonia helped Vertical decide to pick up Blame!, now if they could also pick up Noise and Abara.
