Super bummed that it's going to be a movie rather than a series, however all will be forgiven if they end up screening it in the states.

Saw Accel World and had my hopes up that they were finally announcing a Season 2. Kind of let down that it was just a film but it gives me hope that the anime isn't dead. |

Why people keep assuming this is a season 2? Infinite Burst was announced as spin-off from Accel World so the content is entirely original. They only reveal that info but they dont state whether it will be TV series,OVA or movie until today which is turned out as a movie. If this get TV series, it will be not a sequel/season 2 of Accel World. |
