You got that right. When I was living in Chiba, Japan; I always cook curry on weekends, instant or homemade; man, they are goooood... Although...wait...I thought United States have a wide selection of curry-flavored chips (kettle or not) already... |

I can honestly say I've never seen curry-flavored chips around here and I love trying weird chip flavors. No, instead we get bombarded by Mexican flavors of pretty much everything (including "Mexican" Coca-Cola at every supermarket) even though the unofficial second language in Maine is French. Would love to try another country's flavors for a change... Emerje |

In the name of "science" I have just gone out to my local convenience store and purchased a bag of the chips.
I will proceed to open the bag and describe my experience for you all: The bag has a lovely little picture of Nana with her apron and spatula. Kawaii (36 years old however) Chips taste... just like cafeteria curry. Maybe a bit sweeter. An american might mistake the flavor for a kind of sweet/dry barbeque if they didn't know better. All in all I would say I'd purchase again, especially if they have more cute girls on the bags (anime is OK too ) |
