Another victim of overwork don't they know autoimmune diseases strike women the most, stop overworking your talent. Hopefully she gets well.

While she's not retiring, for now, it's still tough to read this after the Mari Kawada and Galileo Galieli news. What's next, Nana Mizuki retiring Sad?

I wish her the best recovery.

I hope Faylan-san will have a great recovery. It seems that the heavy workload did her in...

WTH man. Why are all these actual life impacting things happening to such great people(all people in general) that forces them to stop doing what they do. I wish the dragon balls were real. Until then, I hope for the best recovery possible, Faylan. Come back 110%.

This one is an autoimmune disease, meaning she was born with it and was likely unaware she had it until now.

That being said, autoimmune diseases are extremely varied in how much they affect the person. It could be simple nuisances, or it can be life-threatening.

While you can resist autoimmune diseases, VERY few of them have known cures. An autoimmune disease is basically your immune system attacking your body. It's very hard to put a stop to that without having something even worse happen to you. Immune systems tend not to take any orders from anyone but themselves.

Immunosuppressants can stave them off, but those medicines intentionally weaken your immune system, and the risks of doing that are obvious.

Most autoimmune diseases are something the person can live with though, and hopefully it's only something that would affect her under specific circumstances (akin to allergies--which, by the way, is also an autoimmune disease).

I wish Faylan the best in recovery.

It was good to see her live if only for a few songs at Animelo Summer Live 2011:

Last vision for Last (Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls OP)
Rasen, Arui wa Seinaru Yokubou (Seikon no Qwaser 2 OP)

Nettaiya Girls / Masami Okui + Faylan + Natsuko Aso (Anisama Girls Night theme song)

Faylan also contributed the songs "Dark Side of the Light", "Distance Point", "If" and 鎮魂の旅へ (黄泉の心をイメージ) in Ga-Rei Zero, and was one of the LR Harmony singers for the Carnival Phantasm OP "Super☆Affection" (which was also sung at the Type Moon Fes in July 2012 and at some of the Lantis Live festivals).

Hoping that it's an easily treatable autoimmune disease for a good, sustained recovery. Thinking about it, that might have been the reason she had to cancel her appearance in the USA for the Nekocon convention in November.
